Diversity and Productivity go very much together. I look at diversity in a broader way, no limiting it to gender and race. Diversity in an organization can be synergetic, but also being des-engage able. Let’s take only a few elements of diversity: Ethnical, Gender, Generational and Regional. Diversity brings to the work place, the combination of talents from different sources. If senior management does not differentiate the individual characteristics, expectation, values principals and needs of each employee will then have hard time to improve productivity. Big changes needs to take place in our attitude about diversity. Divesity is every thing that is different from our standards. Change those standars a little bit and Improve your Results.
